I'll get pics of taking it there - I'm looking forward to the convoy with MadAboutMX5s Corn*s car. Will try to get pics as I strip it etc too, but as the bodyshop is miles from my house, will have to see if the painter would mind taking any other ones of 'in progress'.
I will get something sorted for you regarding pics Ste. I will be down there a few times in between so can get some snaps

I would have bought one of Claire's (CrapEngineering) ones, but I'd already got mine and I got it a lot cheaper (<1/2 of the price of the CrapEngineering one) as someone else (SteveB) had imported it from the US but didn't ever use it.

is your tubular subframe a big weight saving? Is that the point of them?
It is a fairly good weight saving yeah - in theory it should be lighter, stiffer and give better access.

What insurance company did you go with? If you don't mind my asking! I have followed all 53 pages. Always interesting following details of all your hard work.
Cheers. I'm with CCI (Competition Car Insurance). It's an agreed value policy and includes track cover too - was surprisingly reasonable.

Luckily that one hasn't got my ugly mug in it while I was checking out the nice parts on the car. Good to see you today Ste. Looking forward to seeing what your car looks like in the new colour.

why are you so good at photography. It's not fair.
I did it at college and everything. I met my Mrs in the darkroom.

Good to see you and the Cribbs too. Your Corn*s car is utterly ridiculous.

Massive thanks to M@rtin for all of his help today - I think we had most of it stripped in an hour. :D
