Check heat shield on the downpipe and cat.

Not a fault really, could be loose or a stone rattling around or breaking away due to rust.

 

destroyed the downpipe heatshield with a screwdriver and the car sounds good even at low rpm

 

I put a few jubilee clips around mine, as it wasn't that far gone. Helped a lot.

 

mine was in good nick for the most part but tbh the rattle did my nut, also I've added lightness by removing it

 

i may have to do this too....its annoying and embarrasing
