Hi,
I'm in the process of making some TSI's and I am replacing the sidelights and indicators using some slimline LED bars that have both white (DRL) and amber modes. If the white leds are on and you then use the amber led indicators it automatically switches the white ones off momentarily whilst the indicator flashes, once the indicator is cancelled the white ones come back on. Obviously only the white sidelight on the side that is indicating switches off, the other remains on.
My question relates to the one sidelight switching off whilst the indicator is on, will this pass the MOT or do the requirements expect the sidelight to be on constantly. Or would it be down to the individual tester ?
Thanks for any info.
