sticky caliper moving on a rusted slider?

could just be a slightly warped disc making the pads move

can you tell which corner it's coming from?

 

It's coming from near side rear.

 

could be a sticking caliper putting strain on the suspension and a bush making the creaking noise. maybe antiroll bar bushes or the bushes in the drop links, moving as the weight goes forward. have a poke around. use a lever to find movement in the bushes and check the brake in that corner. grease the sliders with red rubber grease or ceratek brake grease, something like that. normal grease doesn't cut the mustard due to the heat.

spose it could be the top mount moving around if it's old. have a good hunt around.

Didi you find anything? I have the exact same thing can't find it. Been looking for ages, brakes are fine etc.

 

Had a similar issue. Went away after a lubricated my Anti-roll bar bushes.

Likewise, I have the same problem under braking especially at slow speeds so I am curious to know if you resolved the problem. I have some new anti roll bar bushes I am going to try fitting this morning so I'll let you know if I get any joy from that.

Fitted the new Polybush anti roll bar bushes but not had any joy sadly, it is still creaking. Worth doing the job though, old ones (original set I think on an '04 reg) were squashed and the holes in the middle were about 5mm larger than they should have been.

The hunt continues so when I find out where the issue lies I'll give an update then

 

If it helps at all I've done bearings, discs and pads. All to no avail

could even be a ball joint, mine passed an MOT fine but was infact well past it's best. didn't make any noise though.
