i had the drivers window out to do a bit of work but since installing it when i operate it to the top when the door is closed it catches on the hood at the back top corner and so the cant open the door.any ideas why it does this,i tried lowering the stops but they dont seem to be the problem

i had a similar prob, and after a few/lot of swear words i dound it to be the rails on which the sliders work, it was the top bolt near the top of the door, the hole is almost rectangular so u can ajust as needed. HTH
