Most turbos would fit given the right manifold and downpipe. The most popular are the T25/T28 footprint turbos as this is what BEGi/FM use...

Think that is how it works, aslong as the turbo isn't stoopid huge size wise, and you have the fabrication skills, anything will "fit" I know Green drifter has done a scooby turbo onto his and as Jamie said, the T25 and T28 are popular, with most of the bits available for a bolt on job without the fabbing of manifolds etc.

As for a list of all the kits fasioned ready for the 5, I really don't know
soz I know the common ones that have been recited on here many times, Begi, Flyin miata etc.

Cheers Guys, appreciate that.

yeah you should do something silly mental with your fab skills.
How about using them 4 throttle boddies and taking a turbo from each exhaust port.. i.e. 4 turbos, 1 feeding each cylinder ?

I'm sure between us we could make it work, lol
Turbo size is one portion, availability of manifolds is another. A buddy of mine is running a stock wrx turbo on a custom etd manifold... spools well. Most other turbo's are either T25/28, or the GT2650 I believe.... also I've seen t3/t4 combo's that work.

If you are looking for lots of specific info... check miataturbo. They have more info on what works, who's spooling well, and compressor maps all over the place. <G>
