Hello i've been looking for a topic that was put on awhile ago which showed what you need to get your heated hardtop working, the parts and what to fit. I've searched for it but can't find it, anyone have it or can point me in the direction

hi there mate,

what you need is a heated widow switch, which is the blank plate nearest the door, you need a heated rear window relay, which the connector to fit it too is in the boot, behind the inside cover for the boot lock, and the flexi wire for the window from the heated rear window.

should take you less than five mins,

http://www.mx5parts.co.uk/product_info.php/products_id/173 is the switch
http://www.mx5parts.co.uk/product_info.php/products_id/174 this is the relay that goes in the boot
http://www.mx5parts.co.uk/product_info.php/products_id/987 this is the harness

you may also need a fuse block if it does not have a electric aerial,
regards

Tim

unless you have a pre '91 car...as damien does iirc, which doesn't have any of the HRW loom or connectors. in which case, see my post and kit list.

good shot on the bits though tim
