When you say "big horsepower", how big are you thinking? If you want 200bhp odd, supercharging is the way to go. If you want 300+, just slap an LS1 V8 in there.

Either way, you want to be sure the brakes and handling are up to the job before you go upping the power considerably. As for how cheap, spend the money on decent kit and you'll only buy once.

As said only "big power" option is FI super or turbo.

Expect to pay at least 4 figures not necessarily including the brake upgrade, roll cage and potential diff upgrades ideally needed.
