Oh yeah... the damp lap... that was the first one... to say the car is a bit of a handful with this much power and crappy tyres and an LSD... well... UNDERSTATEMENT.

Nice video there. Tell us more about the ebay turbo.... what is it? have you had any issues with it and what bhp have you got from the car?

It's the $800usd kit from a guy in California. Not a single part fitted or lined up, no surprise really! The manifold cracked and warped both plates within 4 hours of running - plates now machined flat and cracks welded up. I have a bracket supporting the weight of the manifold and turbo now.

The turbo itself is tiny, slow and not great - by 7000rpm it's well out of its range. But it's not spooled up until 4500rpm either - very old-school which is kinda cool on track! But I can afford time, and I have a workshop with mechanics. I didn't have $3000 for a proper kit.

At 0.8bar I GUESS we're making about 180bhp... no dyno runs yet only road tuning.
