No difference. At least not up until the extra long 475mm cat appeared on UK 1.8 cars in '97 or '98. At some point in production one of the exhaust hangers got deleted (one near the cat) but there's no compatibility issue with that.

Looking for a replacement exhaust over the standard one for my Eunos 1.6.

I've heard good things about the Pro 1 exhaust from top speed but with my car being on blistien shocks and lowering springs. It's a lot lower than a standard ride.

If any one can help or provide any good alternatives that would be super helpful :)

Standard back to the backbox which has been chopped and replaced with a resonator a mate had lying around. Cost nothing, sounds awesome.

The OE exhaust on my '90 roadster is starting to get worse for wear and I'm looking at replacing it with something better anyway. I don't want anything too loud or drony though, just something subtle.

So what's the best option? I don't have a lot of money to spend....

I've seen the GT3 systems on ebay for £150, what are they like? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/400906205379

Hi folks,

I am in the process of fitting a complete Mk2.5 system to my 1994 Eunos starting from the manifold, I cut out the nasty join where the first pipes come together, they were squashed and welded up reducing the pipe diameter by 2/3,

I then welded a plate over the section so that should now flow really well, the mid section is mx parts with cat, I am going to fit a sportex straight through back box,

I will have to make up one new exhaust hanger to bolt onto the rear subframe.

I have exhaust wrapped the manifold and first section including the cat and painted it to seal the wrap.

The Mk2.5 system has gentler bends in it which should help flow, the only downside is the cat is further forward so a bit of extra heat shield protection is needed.

Yes I know its unothodox but it has to be tried.

The Mk2.5 Manifold is a very good design for an OEM part.
