Hi guys,

This is going to be quite vague.. I do apologise.
Just noticed it getting worse on my way home from work but didn't get a chance to video it and post it to see what you guys think.

The car is a UK model, 1995 NA 1.6. With 69000 miles.

Basically getting a squeak from one of the pulleys and it's quite loud and frequent.. At it's worst in neutral (probably because that's when it's easiest to hear)

What am I looking at? New timing belt? Loose pulley?

It's well worth saying the previous owner was a f*****g idiot.. So I doubt the belt has been changed.

Let me know guys :)

Could just be the alternator belt mate. Will just need the slack taking up. There is an adjuster to do it. Think it's just above the alternater.

O yes definitely. 2 bolts. Undo the one that locks it all in position then tighten the other bolt that adjusts the tension. When you are happy it is tight enough and doesn't squeak tighten back up the other bolt to lock it all in place.
