Sound Proofing

Hi everyone,
Just thinking about trying to soundproof my 5. I think most of the road noise comes up from the rear wheels via the drainage tubes.
I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas or solutions for this problem. There are a couple of miles of concrete road I use and this is really noisy.
Thanks in advance.

fit a hardtop and tape up the holes with gaffer tape.

otherwise, maybe fit a baffle plate to the bottom of the tube? tape a bit of thin open cell sponge over the bottom?

thanks tom,
The hardtop is not an option, not keen on them. But the baffle could work for me, has anyone else tried this?
