Well today im going to a RR car event, 25 pound for 2 runs and they measure AFR's etc as its on a decent Dyno Dynamics rolling road.

So what do we think my cars putting out, spec is (thats worth knowing);

Full Greddy turbo kit with FMIC (Front mount inter-cooler)

HKS Electronic boost controller at 5-6psi

Bibes ACU

UP-rated fuel pressure regulator

Custom laarger down pipe to sports cat an RSR exhaust (This would mostly help turbo spool time not peak bhp)

The prize is the satisfaction of knowing you were closest/right.

Well all went well, no issues with the car and here is a quick pic;



and the result was alot more than i was expecting, but some of you are on the money, i.e Gary;



Well chuffed with that and my basic fuelling mods are actually doing really well, didn't get a print out of AFR's but had a look at them with the engine tuner and he's happy with them and heard no det at all.


Also suprised at how smooth the power curve is.


Not a bad way to spend 25 quid lol, also said he rates the MS and if i get that then he'd be more than happy to map it as he's familiar with them.

Guesses!!! Ohhh Noooo, the values were derived from many years of knowledge and understanding.....


In this case I think the dyno was slightly out......


Either way, good result and nice graphs. There is room for a small amount of improvement above the VE point. (Potential to lift torque at higher RPM)

Was on the car when i got it, no idea who or where its from, can;t see any markings, its a larger bore and smother than the original Greddy unit.

good result! Need to fit my intercooler, bigger d/p and injectors soon see what happens as Im still at 155bhp

Yea i've got 440cc inj sat next to me, a dual feed fuel rail and LC-1 wideband to fit but will do that once i get a MS, but then i'll need to uprate the clutch and rear diff lol, im in no rush with the car, happy at the power its got so am just enjoying driving it.

Iv got a uprated clutch to go in as Mine is well and truly on its last legs! Just finding the time to do it all at the moment! What uprated fuel regulator did you use? different from the std greddy kit one?
