Rear Demister Connectors Broken Off.

The connectors to the rear screen of my mk2 have snapped off the rear window whilst putting the roof up or down.

Is this a common thing? Is it just a case of having to solder the connectors back on?

Same thing has just happened to me? I'm not sure howto stick it back... I was worried soldering would or could crack the glass... Did you fix it?
