Rear Deck Screws

I bought a couple of those a while ago with a view to replacing the Frankenstein bolts, but never used them because they sat higher than the front ones and looked shit (I thought they would sit flush, but I was wrong...) I'll have a look tomorrow, and if I can find 'em - assuming I haven't already given them away - I'll send 'em to you FOC. Can't say fairer than that, Guv

what do you mean they dont sit flush though ??? as in they dont screw all the way down or that when you remove the frankenstein bolt there is no recess for the screw ????

Yep, I wanted to remove the Frankenstein bolt and replace it with the plain screw, thinking it would sit the same as the other one, but they don't. I think the recess isn't as deep, and the plain screw sat higher and looked odd, so I put the Frankenstein bolts back on. Still looks a bit crap, but not as bad as 2 screws sitting at different levels...

I haven't ventured into the shed yet to look for 'em, but I'll go out there later and have a rummage. If I manage to find them I'll PM you for your address. If you don't hear from me it either means I can't find 'em or I'm stuck in the shed underneath a pile of patio chairs!

Robbs, I've had a rummage and only managed to find one I'm afraid, but you are more than welcome to have it free if you want. It's new and unused, so will save you ?3.72 which is better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick I guess
