Well after deciding 6 months ago that she wanted leather seats instead of a style bar the better half has mentioned she might fancy a style bar after all now........why aren't I surprised.

But first she'd like to see what it might look like, so if anyone has a nice picture of their black Mk2 with a style bar fitted get it posted please.

lol true. Well if I were you I'd find one that looked good and was safe. For the price of a new style bar you could get a second hand roll bar.

Mobile mouse traps? I keep hearing this term as if when an MX5 rolls the occupants are killed only because the style bar snaps down upon them as opposed to their skull being smeared across the tarmac under 900kgs of car.

In the unlikely event that your MX5 rolls the occupants will die with or without a style bar. Not even a roll bar is 100% safe.

They are all over the floor before the windscreen even breaks! Rolls bars arnt 100% but might as well have one right? If you go on the harddog website and look at crash photos they obviously have a good effect.
