Oil In Spark Plug 1 & 2

Hi there,

I have just changed the cam cover gasket and thought while I was at it I may as well change the spark plugs too.

All was going well plug 4 and 3 looked good in respects of the sort of wear a good functioning spark plug will display, however when it came to spark plug 2 & 1, they were dripping in oil.........!! I cleaned the area out with a rag inserted all the new plugs and the car fires up no problem at all.

Is there something more sinister lurking that I need to sort out ASAP?

Cheers

might be wrong, but probably was your fooked cam cover gasket. my no 3 had it, then I changed my gasket and it didn't any more! :)

makes sure you do the cas seal whilst your at it, mine was literally as hard as plastic and leaking oil down the back of my engine.
