Onto summit else broken exhaust hanger.
Made up repair as template for 10mm rod. Take to work and make and get my mate to tig it as im awful at tig.

So got me mate Bane to weld up exhaust. I can tig just about but its work and gotta wear this air fed mask system i hate it. My work is very good so he done it.

Thats the exhaust back on..
Hanger rubber ( nylon) laying flat but old hanger it did too. Its lifted silencer 4mm so supporting that part of exhaust. No wobbly silencer now. Happy not gonna fall down its very stiffly supported about 3mm movement.
I cut the baby teeth off so any rolling road time i gotta bolt these brackets on so they gotta come off now.

Ohh and no oil leak from turbo drain fitting...exhaust hanger intact too.
Thats it for 2022.
Oil change n brake fluid change over winter...and save up for 8 x a052s...
No vids but overtook everything there, 1 spin dialing in.

Top hose off. Rad cap off Warm engine, few revs etc. Whilst running keep topping up rad from my hose (big jug will be fine). Get engine to normal operating temp and keep going. Water outta top hose was brown. ( cast iron block). Kept going til nice n clear.
Top hose back on, Judge it right and water pump will pull level down in rad and i added 2.3 litres of coolant.
Cap on ran upto temp again until fan cut in.
Fresh 50/50 mix in expansion vessel.
Turn off and left whilst doing oil change. Brace off etc. Vacuum pulled in additional from exp vessel. Cap off when cooled level good.
Filled exp vessel to max.
Ill check strength with me tester fri and top up rad if needs any.

Note. Coolant capacity is 6l...
But i dont have a heater matrix so guessed 1 litre less.
Be aware on mx5s not needed to turn heater to max as its a constant flow system.
