Ngk Spark Plugs

I'm planning to change the plugs on my 1998 Mk2 1.8iS. Will having the NGK Iridium make any noticeable difference over the standard plugs? I realise they are 3 times the cost, but assume that is irrelevant.

I recently bouht the long reach spark plugs (for NA) and have to say it is a lot smoother and can tell the difference.
Are these worth it no idea
I didn't really find any difference between them and the normal plugs for FI.

If you've not got a turbo or supercharger...you are basically igniting (get it) ?5 notes in front of your face.
I've tried fancy sparkplugs in bikes & cars before, I found no noticable improvement as such other than a sense of wellbeing knowing that I had he finest sparkplugs in the land located under the bonnet/fairing.

I would guess that if you had a high performance engine and were looking for every last bit of power & torque you could find then it might be a worthwhile investment, but nowadays I use the standard NGK plugs (just a grade cooler to suit the forced induction).
likewise, cant say i've found any difference in plugs...

Take the time to index them though to get the most out of them....
