Been lurking round the site for some time now so thought it was time to show off my V-spec roadster.

Heres a few pics of the car i came from, 2001 Fiesta ZS owned it for 3 1/2 years and was a fantastic little car.

Car is staying with family as my parents have bought it so wont really be missed!

Anyways ever since driving my Dads mk2.5 mx5 i had to have one, always prefered the mk1 mx5 and always fancied a black or green V spec.
So after a few poor examples i made the 200 mile round trip to bring this home...

Came with a few nice extras like tan hood cover, stainless manifold, engine brace and bilstein shocks with lowering springs.
Want to keep the car pretty much as it is with a few subtle mods, planning on silenced decat and mx5parts single exit exhaust, the ride on the car is at times very hard so might invest in a different suspension setup in time and finally the wheels need refurbed but i am also keeping my eyes open for a new set.

New year and some new plans
Image

-Sills are just starting to bubble and have been booked in to get fixed this month before they get any worse.
-Wheel alignment checked (Done)
-Front lower brace.
-Timing checked/advanced
-And finally the wheels need a refurb, unsure if I will go all out and get a full refurb or just sand back/polish the curb marks.

Not massive plans but enough to keep me ticking over.

Being a new member and recent grazer of the forum I have been reading through this thread with interest, looking for some inspiration for my own V-Spec. It's my first MX5 bought back in September. A solid rust/rot free example, which I have been slowly improving through replacing some of the more worn parts and removing unnecessary ones! Mechanically and structurally it is in decent nick, but it is in need of some cosmetic TLC.

Keep up the good work, and as others have said the Ronals look ace!
