Been lurking round the site for some time now so thought it was time to show off my V-spec roadster.

Heres a few pics of the car i came from, 2001 Fiesta ZS owned it for 3 1/2 years and was a fantastic little car.

Car is staying with family as my parents have bought it so wont really be missed!

Anyways ever since driving my Dads mk2.5 mx5 i had to have one, always prefered the mk1 mx5 and always fancied a black or green V spec.
So after a few poor examples i made the 200 mile round trip to bring this home...

Came with a few nice extras like tan hood cover, stainless manifold, engine brace and bilstein shocks with lowering springs.
Want to keep the car pretty much as it is with a few subtle mods, planning on silenced decat and mx5parts single exit exhaust, the ride on the car is at times very hard so might invest in a different suspension setup in time and finally the wheels need refurbed but i am also keeping my eyes open for a new set.

Looking for a change with the car so there will be a few goodies coming up for sale shortly as i look to go in a different direction

Looking back at the car before i bought all the JDM bling has got me thinking it was the wrong direction for me and i prefer the more simple look of the mx5...

Nothing is for certain yet but the following will most likely be sold from the car;

M2 mirrors
Zoom fuel lid
Zoom side markers
Arc intake chamber

Going to remove them all some time in the next week and fit the original items and see how a feel from there

Well after a good year with the car having no problems and getting it looking just how i wanted it, all that work was nearly undone in a split second last night

Coming off a roundabout on my way home from taking the GF shopping, when straightening up after exiting the bend the back end stepped out sending the car into a 360 spin down a slip road for a shell garage. Unsure whether it was just the wet surface or something else on the road but there was no catching it once it snapped and all i could do was guide the car into the slip road rather than try to correct it back onto the dual carridge.

Thankfulky we were both ok and amazingly the car also seems to have escaped without any damage.

Going to fetch the car on the drive and get it jacked up for a better look (was dark when i checked last night) as it bumped up the kurb which was quite high.

Was expecting an ear bashing off the other half (i should have took the corner slower admittedly) but she was more annoyed at the fact no-one even stopped to see if we were ok despite a couple of cars behind us actually witnessing the crash!

Lesson learned the easy way thankfully and i will not be so complacent in the future driving in the wet
