De-mist covers arrived from mx5parts this morning, only ordered them yesterday so excellent delivery.

Not so impressed with the items themselves though, not a perfect fit and a bit fiddly.

Bought them to cover up the fiddly bits i simply didn't have the patience to get 100%

And this is how they look fitted

Had no intention of leaving them silver but i was curious to see how they look. Anyway the satin black came out and i think they look much better

 

Car has been serviced the day.

Now on the look out for some runabout mirrors

 

Some on page one of tetsuya garage at the moment .

 

Seen them and they are the ones am after cheers. Think they would be gone by now though.

Looking to get the faded tan crash pads flocked to break the tan up a bit.

What an awful looking thing!

 

Red bulb and wire it up to the offside reversing light position. Only one reversing light but no grotty stuck on fog and you can run a fog all year round.

 

Yeah think that will be the plan, just been reading up on the 'how to' guide and it seems simple enough

Cheers bud! The garage owner is a friend of the family so he is going to turn a blind eye to the fog light which means i can leave it off!

 

These came out today to be packaged up and sent away to be flocked

And just because it is sunny...

 

Car flew through its M.O.T with no advisories today which is great

Just waiting on my flocked crashed pads to come back from Ron (Fox on here) and then i need to take some sizes for some persex inserts for my RS gauge rings and my interior will be finished!

 

Crash pads arrived this morning

And fitted

This is the first time i have had anything flocked and i'm loving the finish! I can see how people get carried away and go flock crazy on their cars now.

 

Looks good! Very clean car.

Hey mate, did you refinish your nardi or did it come looking that good? Mines not in the best of condition, I've just got a normal momo so I can take it off and restore it a bit.
