Was wondering a few things about the images below on my 1991 Mazda MX5 Eunos (1.6 Automatic)

1. Are the stripes aftermarket?
2. Any idea on the origin of the logo? or is that aftermarket too?

Couldnt find the shield design from a quick search but its pretty clear what it's supposed to be. A samurai/bushido in front of the Hinomaru at a temple.
Kind of strange to put on a car to be honest lol
