Megasquirt And Wideband????

Mini SC is now fitted, injectors in, MSPNP in, intercooler and small pulley on. Were nearly there!!

I need to connect the LC1 to the megasquirt. The MS manual says I can either use pin 10 of the optional harness (fine) or the stock 02 sensor plug (also fine). I'll use pin 10 as its easier.

Which of the LC1's wires do I hook up to this? The brown wire is the wideband signal, and thats wired into the guage, the yellow wire is also an analog output, but the instructions say this is a narrowband simulator, so my MS will also want the brown one wont it? Can I splice in and provide the same output to both, or will this knacker the signal?

I hope that makes sense!

Also, I have hooked all the lives and all the grounds together for the guage and the LC1 (hope this is ok), I was planning to use the ECU ground point by the TB that the MS manual suggests, anyone have any suggestions on which switched live I can tap into? I have put a 5 amp fuse in line as it suggests.

Almost ready for the big switch on!! :) I'll go have easter dinner and get back on it!

it's a programmable output (both are) so fire up logworks and program is as a wideband output.

You could also set it to 0-5v 10 - 20:1 for slightly more liner resolution, just make sure to pick that option when you tell MS what wideband you have fitted.

Oh and grouped together grounds are NOT a good idea, follow the LC-1 instructions. If they could be grouped together you'd only have one wire....

The manual seemed to suggest you can use the same ground point? Just with different terminals? Electrics aren't my strong point I'll admit!
Cant believe you're eating when you are soooooo close!!
