My car is a P reg 1996 1.8. Therefore, going off mx5parts.co.uk It should have a 440mm cat.

Assuming that information is correct, what other years exhaust will fit my car?

Or is there a link to somewhere where this information is?

Your car is a jap import, all jap imports have a 370mm cat so 99% of mk1 exhausts fit.

Sorry to sound stupid, but you mean that including 1.6 mk1 exhausts?

Always having an early 1.6 in the past has meant me never having this faff before as pretty much everything fits!

All MK1 exhasts fit all MK1's - with the exception of the late UK MK1 which had a long cat, all the other different length cats, the difference was made up from the manifold end, engine size is irrellevant

Sorry a bit of a noob question but I am what I am...Can you fit the early 1.6 manifold to the late 1.6, without swapping out the cat? Are they different sizes? I have a 96 1.6 and would like to upgrade manifold but not sure what will fit.
