Why not just buy a secondhand Honda CRX Delsol for some speed. I had a grey import Delsol model. Fastest car I ever owned, and a two seater convertible. Once the VVT engine changed over at the correct RPM you got kicked into the back of your seat. It was a pocket rocket. Sad when I sold it. But my 'need for speed days' are over, as I am no longer a boy racer :D
A delsol/delslow would be barely any quicker than a MK2.5 mx5... neither are "fast" cars!

K20's seem to be getting thrown in everything nowadays. Think there was a clio, caterham and fiesta all with them at the last trackday I went to. Shouldn't be too hard to fit in an mx5!

Hi Guys

This has progressed for me .

Also I have found 10+ k swapped mx5s in Ireland/UK.

Anyways what's changed since I posted this thread is the Honed development tubular subframe for the RHD K swap .

Mine will be here tomorrow and its a game changer for the RHD swap.

It's designed to be used in conjunction with the Kpower parts ( sump , manifold ect) and it uses OEM s2000 rubber mounts , custom brackets and some magic with the steering rack mounts.

I might do a build thread.

Mine will k24 with garret g30 660 turbo.

One of the best cars i ever owned, and imo probably the best fwd car in the world of its time.. Wouldnt be much slower than my turbo 5 on the back roads in the real world. Those b series engines are absolutly awsome, mine dynod at 165bhp from a stock 1.6ltr! @ 8100rpm. Crazy
