Surprised this hasnt been mentioned yet. But "How many left" was shot down in flames by the majority of reputable motoring groups due to the false information it provides.

The figures were completely misleading.

Just looked up Austin 1300 gt....41 licenced...28 sorn....if only eh !!!!! (had one in 1982) Swapped it for a H A Viva van LOL !!!

The g/f just got the Toyota starlet SR off of Sisport....still 441 licenced..39 sorn (Si said at the time they only made 1000)

My first car Vauxhall Victor 101 still around 50 hanging on !!!!

I've found a couple there's two left of so far..... Thema ie turbo and a Dacia duster.

We own one of the earliest Dellow's ever made. I think there's roughly 20ish left on the road. We were in posession of the Darracq land speed car briefely during it's restoration. My Father had to correct the 1905 wiring! That's a one off

this will never be accurate as most the imports are not registered correctly...

example mine is a R-LTD in white, one of 102 ever made... on the v5 it says, Mazda Eunos.

i know of 2 unregistered imports just sitting in a barn! the owner is a bit odd

There was a thread about how rubbish these figures are on the Lancia Owners club some time last year. Things like Lancia Thema Turbo, only 2 left on the road... well in about 3 days about 15 of them were accounted for as fully legal on the road, and thats just the owners who are in the owners club and were on the forum in a short time frame... shame really as it would be good to be able to find out useful information from this, but its obviously miles out!!

As mentioned the figures quoted should have a large dose of salt applied. Practical Classics
has pointed to cases where they are in possession of figures that disprove the numbers and there are likely to be a lot more that PC don't know about. Its fun to look through for obvious anomalies like Bentley hatchbacks and Isetta coupes
