Im a firm believer in black. The car has nice lines that dont include a roof. Colouring the roof brings it in to play, and its a different shape car then. A shape i find uneventfull.

Green roof on a green car looks good IMHO, so go with your strange side mate

If I ever need to change mine in the future I'll probably be going for a dark blue mohair, just to make the car look a bit different (Mine's Twilight Blue, not BRG obviously).

When the roof is down you can't see the colour, when it's up you can see it whether it's black red green brown blue etc, so I find your arguement rather odd.
