Hi everyone. Been lurking for a while and have taken the plunge.

Here is my 1991 Eunos 1.6 (Mr Miyagi) well we had to give him a name! All my other cars were girls and 'old Bess' wasn't an option apparently.

I have managed to de-tango the car and fit new mirrors, leather gear lever and handbrake gaitor from eBay.

Still to do is sort the suspension (still bottoming out at the rear), rocker cover gasket, shift boots (almost disintegrated, well I can see the road) and small hole behind the plastic water shield in rear arch. Then perhaps in the warmer weather a coat of stone chip underneath.

Looking goooooooood - might want to think about popping something a little 'meatier' over the tail pipe

Welcome to the Nutz-house Daniel-san errrrm I mean Monikieman

BTW, does your username derive from the film 'The Fifth Element'?......would make sense, having a 5 an all

Vince.

Hi Quicksilver,

No, Monikie is where I live, nothing to do with the Fifth Element. Sounds good though.

Any suggestions for a more meatier look!? for the tail pipe. Not too sure if I like the chrome over pipes.

Brian,

Don't go for chrome - you can get descent stainless steel pipe ends from places like Demon Tweeks/Motorworld/Halfords etc......there are also a couple of nondescript small accessory shops around here that are good for bits & pieces so I assume that most counties will have their own?

I've got a stainless one that I bought from Motorworld that I paid ?10ish for - the trick is to cut the original end of the pipe down so you can't see it poking through the over pipe.

Greetings Monikieman,

You're only a few miles from me. I'm at the other side of the big tv mast. I'll need to keep an eye out for your motor on the roads. I trust you're loving the tight s-bends just past the entrance to Crombie in your Eunos. Pity there are only 2 of them

Some nice roads around here but the right hander after the park is a bit of a pain. It's seen its fair share of cars in the field.

If your coming from the mast I am the first rabbit on the right. If you've seen it, you'll know what I mean.

Cheers

Assuming the rabbit you refer to is not the rampant sort, I think I know where you mean. Are you the chap with all the fire wood?
Yup, that's me. Stop in some time with your motor for a blether.

Cheers
