Help Applying Vinyl Stripes

Hi all,

I'm hoping to fix some vinyl stipes to the Eunos this weekend, however having only had limited exposure to applying vinyl stickers before, I wondered if anyone had any advice they could share with me?

I read somewhere that you should use washing up liquid to help move the stripes around to find the ideal location, however some clarification on this would be helpful.

When i did them to my mini a while back it was just warm soapy water and a hairdryer!

best way i found to get a straight line was to get some string with a weight on one end as holding at the one end should make it hang true, giving u a nice straight line.....so, then get some pool cue chalk and rub it down the string and pressing both ends of the string against the body work get someone to lift the middle and let it go, should spring back and hit the car, leaving a nice blue straight chalk line to follow for the stripes!!

Not very easy to explain but im sure u can use ur imagination!

or just buy a proper chalk line from the builders merchants - only about a fiver
