bedford happened today,
started off very grey and damp when I left the house, then got even damped when it started to pour with rain!
first few laps were very greasy and slidey, but I was having fun!
then the sun came out a bit, the rain stopped falling and the track dried out a treat!
spent the rest of the day on the slicks, until I ran out of brake pads, and strength in my neck!!
really good track, really enjoyed it, and no problems at all with noise!
did 171 miles on track, and used about 78l of fuel, so a respectable 9mpg
there will be photos, and there will definitely be videos! I thought id try second gear around one of the tighter hairpins in the wet and it went quite sideways, but as I was expecting it I kept my foot on the throttle and it just held a nice slide ofr a second and straightened out, managed to leave tyre marks and smoke so that was great fun!!
