The front wing on my NA has finally crumbled to dust over the winter. Is it better to replace the whole wing or can this be patched?

it can be patched - if you can weld / find a weldist

^^ obviously theres many layers of 'finish' dependant on cost & ability

usually easier & cheaper to buy a new wing

obviously repair or replace will need paint so more £££'s

Thanks for the advice 👍 the other side has started to bubble too so I might try and replace both if I can.

I bought 2 2nd hand wings off a breaker on ebay for £20 each new ones cost more than I paid for the car.

New wings from MX5 Parts are pretty reasonable! They are genuine mazda and I paid 350 for a pair of them a month ago! Probably worth it if you are not doing the welding repair yourself! I just sprayed them and then sprayed the inside with a thick coating of cavity wax.
