Good one! Is this limited to the Uk?Thought it might be worth starting a review thread for food & drink places, and B&B's and that sort of thing. Finding a good route is a delight, but where did you stop for lunch or supper or an overnight stay? Was it good food & good value or was did it give you the skits 20 minutes later? Was the car park protected by an almight speed bump or was it as smooth as a smooth thing?
Good reviews & bad reviews so Nutzers know when to stop and when to keep going.
Killin Hotel on A827 near Loch Tay. Good drive but find somewhere else to stop if you're hungry for lunch. Overpriced, poor quality nosh. Not recommended.

i have worked all over the uk for the last 30yrs, and have never, never found a place to rival this

located in Tadcaster North Yorkshire. probably seats around 50, cosy, roaring real fires, my idea of heaven.some people gripe with the prices, but to be fair, ive always thought you get what you pay for

just been to the nurburgring and in nurburg itself you cant beat pinnochio's 2 of the largest portions of food i have ever seen and very nice to, they were happy to let me take away what i couldnt finish and it all only cost 22 euros
