ok just decided my daily driver is black anyway and was due a bit of a spruce up so i am going satin black on that instead of getting another.

does anyone know what the side skirts are, will probobly paint without at first but i think it needs them to carry it off

Awesome job - I think the skirts make it.

 

i had a shabby mk2 golf like that. wheels black too. People would shout things about the A-team regularly which is how i felt about that hard as nails ride too. Odd, because there was no stripe, and no van, just black paint.

Funny, I was talking to my paint and bodywork guy about a matte black for my car, but wasn't sure about the black mohair roof contrasting with it.

I love it . The rear lights look cool . I don't like the rear view mirrors ( just a bit OTT ) , but otherwise awesome .

 

Where can I get the mirror?

 

rear mirror looks gash, and when it rains won't it go patchy/shiney

not a fan, cars should be shiny IMO

 

when I did a matt black bonnet on one of my imps I loved the look of it but any bird shit on it made it go shiney and no way of stopping it I was constantly getting the spray can out and giving it a spray here and there.

Also car cover shined it up, pointless going matt in the real word unfortunately
