I have an nc1 I bought a while ago and it was serviced by the dealers I bought it from with an oil and coolant change.
I now need to top up the coolant but I don't know if they used fl22 or a standard coolant.
It is orange colour.
Are universal coolants compatible with fl22 in case they did use fl22?
I know I need a full flush and replace soon but I just need something to top up with and don't want to use water in this weather.

FL22 is green it has not been used. FL22 is nothing special.

Use a long life coolant to top up like Halfords or what a motor factor sells.

WARNING

The expansion bottle on these cars crack and all the coolant drains out. Change the bottle as your car is about 13 years old. It is an easy job, the tank is about £50. Your engine will be toast as neither the temperature guage or the oil pressure guage are accurate in the slightest.

You will have no warning at all.
