Elise Seat Fitting - What Brackets/Runners Do I Need?

I have bagged myself some S2 seats, but am struggling to find any fitting instructions.

Can anyone help me out?

If they are like s1 seats, U shaped metal piece for the rear, box section at the front, sorted.

Any links/pics? I couldnt find a thing in search, bar a link to another miata forum for some weirdly fabricated stuff!

No links or pics I'm afraid, my seats are long gone.

Simple really the seat bolts down onto the box section at the front, which in turn bolts down onto the seat bracket.

Then get a long U shaped bracket for the rear, 2 bolts at the bottom to the rail, and then the 2 ones on the sides of the seats near the top of the U.

Did that make sense?

I'm the present owner of these seats - in fact I'm just about to go out and bolt the passenger side seat in. Michael - give me 30 minutes and I'll grab some photos.

Cant find my old thread, but for the box section at the front we used a B&Q chrome table leg, cut to size.

Patience! Had the driver's side in for a while now but a bad back has put paid to me sorting out the other one until tonight. Thank the lord for osteopaths

DC's beaten me to it with piccies but I'll stick mine up after I've had some grub.

Fine so far, but only really been out for short trips. Need to test them out for the Wife Comfort Factor (TM) so we're planning a bit of a trip over the weekend. Need to know if they're comfy enough cos we're driving across the south of France in June!
