Anyone have any experience on using the diagnostic box on the 1990 Eunos? and what equipment if any you can buy to read it? Mine is one of those that doesn't have it connected to the Check Engine light.

you need an led (with resistor) and a paper clip.. and a guide to what the codes mean.
Thanks for the replies - got one delivered today. Finally got the pesky blighter flashing and it flashes a code 10 - air flow sensor - I'd already put a new one on, so I was a bit stumped. I take it I need to clear the codes to get the ECU reading the sensors again and not using its backup system? Car is still running like a bag of spanners!
correct.. i believe there is a fuse you can pull that will reset it all.. but cant think which 1 it is off the top of my head.

Did that - car still running like a bag of crap even though the fault code is cleared. Any ideas? It has always had a chuggy feel and I replaced the air filter as it was black and car has blown ever since. Sounds like exhaust but revs bounce up and down and car tries to stall.
