Issue with clearing the gearbox has been resolved for all reroute kit orders since now.

2 mm of material is removed from bottom of the spacer. My apology for all those who were affected.

I need a kit for my 1994 1.8 turbo but I'm utterly confused :(
For 1.8 you need the "B" kit. What exactly can I help you with?

Question about the front fan switch in the blanking plate. What's the tap thread specs for it? I need to make a thread for my blanking plate and have no idea of the sizes

Exactly :) But as I said, you can try to fit your OEM and only order new if you experience issues (weep hole must be at the top, or very close to the top - from 11 to 1 hour on the clock).

There is nothing wrong with one-valve thermostat if it's a quality product, for NBFL Mazda used it too (http://www.mx5parts.co.uk/thermostat-genuine-mazda-mk25-p-1545.html).

Btw. I just finished working on simplified installation guide for reroute kit: http://coolant-reroute.com/installation.html

Hi, the small change only took off about 2mm of material at the bottom side of the spacer to clear some of the gearboxes. I'm 100% sure it's not related to your leakage.

Suggested troubleshooting:

  • check the hose connection(s), on some of them I even used two steel hose clips to have it extra secure
  • check if the coolant outlet barb is tightened properly
  • the last thing can be leaking gasket, if you didn't have the engine out while installing the kit it's very tricky to get it there right without damaging it

Hi mate, I'm assuming a 'B' kit is the one I need for mk2 1.8? Not read through what else I need so I may pester you with messages. Engine is partially stripped down so should be fairly easy. Thabks
