Black leather interior?
Electric windows,
power steering,
central locking,
headrest speakers,
Alarm/immobiliser,

Good chance of LSD?

Good chance! Take a look under the car you should be able to identify a torsen by it's nose!

Diffs are one aspect of mx5s Ive never ventured into!

Took me a while to find it, look a little down the page you'll see the comparison for a 1.8 open and a torsen:

IIRC being a '96 it maybe a Torsen type 2 .
