I have got a certain type of carpet in my Eunos but it was ruined by the previous owner 'gluing' mats to it!!!!!!!

I have got a replacement carpet but it appears different. Here is mine

They are both jet black, just my shoddy camera work

Question is,

Which one is OEm for the car (1994 RS Ltd)?

And which one is the best quality to replace the original?

first picture is the original double loop carpet, much better quality

second is when the bean counters made them use a shitty carpet! try and get an early carpet set from a breakers they dont cost much but will look better and last longer

your RS should have the double loop one so go buy one!

not thicker! its shit quality so much so that you can actually tear the carpet with your hands!!

i think they did change the weave/quality of the carpets at some point in the Mk1's history, my replacement black carpet was actually better than the tan stuff I removed (not as fluffy).

ps: is that top pic really of a black carpet???!!

Here is a different shot of it fitted. Still lloks grey mind though, eh?

It is a very deep black in the flesh.

Anyone got one of these carpet sets for sale? They are quite light really for postage reasons!
