Saris Bones 3 - carries 3 bikes (as the name suggests) but ive only ever carried 2 bikes on the back of an mx5. Totally adjustable for any sort of car too.
Do a search on here for it - should be quite a few threads.
thanks, i will see what i can find.
I've used a 'normal' saloon style bike rack on mine before. It fitted ok and the bikes were safe.

The only downside was that my boot lid flexed under the weight on the bikes and racks, and some unpadded sections of the bike rack frame came into contact with it and scratched it.

Depending on the bike, you can get bikes in the passenger side reasonably easily. Drop the forks out and put headstock into footwell with rear wheel up against passenger seat at kinda shoulder height. stack the front wheel on top of that. Thats how I transport both my 24" mtb and BMX about the place, its only 3 botls normally to drop the forks out.
I use a cheap shitty one ive had for a few years, works fine and straps via 6-oints so quite secure;

Not had my DH bike on the back yet though and im hoping the boot wont flex or dent. :S

Careful with the Saris bones, if you have a rear suspension bike there's a good chance it won't fit.

Cheers
