I did the exact same thing to my sides/indicators, made from a silver vinyl sticker sheet but TBO they were barely noticeable at all.......they looked naff anyway

Two layers of gaffa tape, let's see what happens when the lights get warm! It's a bit ghetto but took 2 minutes to do and will peel off so I'm going to leave it on for a bit!
