Who was it that said a reverse grid would be a good idea

Shocking strategy calls by McLaren and Ferrari - who tend to copy each other, should make for an interesting race watching who gets stuck behind who and who can actually pull off some overtakes.

The trouble is that both Red Bull cars are going to disappear off into the distance until the inevitable safety car caused by the rookies or the Ferrari's not being able to see through their mirrors.

Yeh they may well vanish into the distance but it won't be long before they both breakdown so they'll soon be caught.

Yeh the mixed up grid order and the likelihood of the rain god's intervention should make for an eventful race - fingers crossed!

I want to see more of the new Merc safety car

Maybe Force India can get their first win under their belts. Red bull stole the march in qually but without a Ferrari or mclaren to compare them to it's hard to know where they'd be relative on pace. Plus the red bull seems curiously lacking in race pace compared to qually pace.

Either way, looks like we're in for another belter of a race. And no Raikkonen to ruin it all by stopping for an ice cream

Yeah Malaysia last year. Race was stopped well before the end so they only got half points. The race coverage kept flickering because the buildings were being hit by lightning. Think the Ferrari kers kept breaking. That seems like ancient history, not just a year ago.

yea I put F1 on series link record on the freesat hd box and it missed the bbc2 coverage too, so not just sky+ box issue. I spotted that yesterday though.

Yeh the Beeb made a point of saying you won't miss a second as the switchover was seamless, I guess they didn't think anybody would be recording it and end up listening to songs of praise rather than the sounds of F1

Anyway, looks like Red Bull have finally delivered on their promises, and another awesome drive from Hamilton

Top race all told. Great drive from Hamilton, fantastic work all round from red bull, and the championship still absolutely wide open. Really enjoyed that one.

even before this race, i thought that the red bull race pace was as impressive if not more so than ferrari or mclaren... they do seem to have this height adjust thing going on tho which is going to help a lot.
