Here we have an early UK model Mazda Mk2. 1.6 – Petrol – Manual - MOT 03/24 and very low 93k Miles. Full and recent service. Original colour is Silver.
I have owned this car 5 or 6 years now but hardly used so had it recommissioned late last year and driven it regularly since adding a couple of hundred miles to make sure it is sound. I have others to prepare now, so selling this one and moving on. I’ve been recommissioning Mx5’s for the past 15 or so years and only deal with Mk1/2/2.5 I therefore have a good understanding of these 3 generations.
2021 – Welding done.
2022 – Fully serviced including NEW timing belt, all filters, fresh oil, new spark plugs and wipers. Had the discs cleaned, added new pads and radiator grill.
2023 – Had it professionally wrapped in Satin Blue by Chilli Graphics in East Sussex. It has a very subtle glitter effect which is not easy to show in the photos. I additionally had the underside metal rubbed down and coated with LanOguard protection.
Added a Sports exhaust and Performance High Flow Cone air filter along with a set of 15inch alloys which are in excellent condition and 4 New tyres.
Never been raced nor drifted, the upgrades were only small as this is a 1.6.
There are new rubber mats and gear knob to match the exterior colour along with a sports steering wheel with blue brushed steel spokes. Roof is in excellent condition and has a windbreaker.
The mileage is very low and having had well over 40 Mixers, I can honestly state that this car handles very well and is an extremely good drive. I’ve driven far more sedate 1.8’s. The air filter and exhaust add a little oomph and nice sound without being annoying for the neighbours.
Please don’t forget this is a 25 year old car. V5C in my name including the colour change and comes with some previous history.
