Hi, any one swapped 1.6 NA with 1.8 from NB2 with harness and ECU? I'm i the middle of process but I'm stuck at splicing new harness in old one. Would love some help!

I had a garage do it for me at cost, but mostly because I don't have the time or an engine crane and I did quite a bit of research. What specifically is the problem?

worth adding mine was with an aftermarket ECU, if you are swapping ECU and using stock ECU, would it not be easier to just use the VVT harness entirely?

I can't imagine the pain of identifying the stock pins on the 1.6 loom and trying to marry them up to the pins on the 1.8 NB2 loom that sounds like an absolute nightmare to be honest.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Yes I'm planning to use NB2 engine harness. It has 3 plugs that go to the ECU and one blue connector that connected to body harness. I need to splice this blue connector to my body harness for +12v and other bits
