Putting my Supercharged MX5 up for sale. Just haven’t really had time to drive it the last few years so I think it’s time to let someone else enjoy her.

I have a mk2.5 1.6 with an M62 supercharger setup, my injectors max out at 90% duty cycle around 5kRPM+WOT.
I Tried some Rx8 Injectors (£50) which gave a REALLY bad idle with nothing but misfires below 2krpm on every combination of dead times you can imagine... so we got our money back from...
Finally got the Supercharged NA back on the road after a 4 year absence due to crashing into a combine harvester......
Anyway apart from some alignment issues that need addressing following the rebuilding of the rear subframe & suspension it's been great to get out and drive the car again...

Needless to say, it's a black pulley with everything you need to fit.
Anyone have a base map for an emerald ECU?
I've got a mk1 1.5 with an M45, 17% reduction pulley, intercooler and standard injectors (I think)
The garage that installed it all before I brought it have locked the map (wont give me the password) and the new garage I'm taking it to has said...
I've been reading the forum for a long time and hardly ever posting anything. Now that I'm getting to the stage where I'm quite happy with my car I decided to share it with you. I will try to go chronologically over what I've done to the car since I bought it.
So it is a 2003 Mk2.5 1.8 Sport...
Up for sale in my 1.6 Jackson Racing supercharged car
Background - The car was previously owned by forum member Raydar, I believe he had owned the car for around 6+ years and had done most of the work himself, he was also a moderator on the phoenix fives forum. I purchased the car around 6...
As above I have an M45 supercharged Mk2.5, the charger is hot-side with the intake cone filter (large!) in the front right corner by the air feed from the wheel-arch (as you stand at the front of the car and face the engine).
I'm finding that in traffic the idle starts to wobble then...
So, the "exhintake" (exhaust cam instead of the intake cam) mod and the "14 degree timing advance" mod - are they mutually exclusive? In other words would you do both or either one or the other?
What are the results for a 1.8?
Are these mods worth doing on a super/turbo charged engine...
I recently took ownership of my third Mx5, a stunning Mk2 Phoenix 1.6, immaculate with FSH and some well chosen upgrades (Rota Grids, coilovers, smoothed paintwork, Racing Beat exhaust, custom roof etc), it really is lovely.
I was all set to buy a second hand Supercharger kit off EBay...
Please help you guys out there who have either done this or have lovely knowledge to share!!!
Lets start with what i have.
currently building a forged bottom end and looking at options for the top end.
I have 2 heads to use for this. first is an early 1991 1.6 (hydraulic lifter) and...
Having picked up a larger diameter bottom pulley from Track Dog, I also need a larger nose pulley.
I already have a KAVS 17%/55mm pulley which will spin the charger too fast with the larger crank pulley, so I am looking at a 60mm version.
The problem is these are not off the shelf so...
Looking for some advice on the best way forward.
I bought a supercharged mk1 at the weekend which split a hose on the way home, turns out after changing the hose that the engine has overheated as I'm pretty sure the head gasket has gone. I've got smoke out the exhaust and it runs like a...
I thought I should put my engine build on here as a separate thread to my car.
I have no knowledge of how to fix engine or about building them. But this project is for me to learn all of this and gain more horses :) Most of what I will be doing I'm blogging over at Combustion Punks (links...

No prizes for guessing why she's called Libby! I picked the car up last month from a chap in Crewe. He bought it off 'Oakesy2001uk' who was a Nutz member, so you might have seen the car before. It's pretty much unchanged from then, but here's the spec just to...
