Long story short - I'm getting P0328 Knock Sensor fault codes but the Knock Sensor appears to be ok with 4.87/4.88 megaohms measured across both pins (A and B ) although i have spotted a bit of dodgy wiring on the ECU around pin 2X (Ground; Shield Wire) and both Knock Sensor and Front...
I have decided its time to put my much loved MX5 up for sale,
It's the 2010 NC 2.0L Sport Tech, so all the normal Sport Tech extras, Bose stereo, heated leather seats, Cruise control etc.

Hi Gents, I've been away for a while since I sold my Mk 2.5, anyway I'm looking to buy a cheap NC, I've seen a 56 plate with the retractable hard top for under £3k.... mmm ????
Do these suffer with the drain hole issue of the soft top? Basically I'm asking do I need to worry about rusty sills...
I'm a bit stumped and looking for some advice (I'm young and inexperienced). Was taking the NC out for a bit of Sunday errand running and noticed a loud, distinctive new Tapping sound coming from my engine (sounds a bit like someone is following me with a jackhammer when driving along. I...
I am attempting to choose between the Cobra Road Back Box and the Moss Cobalt Back Box. I know that this has been covered in one or two other threads, but there doesnt seem to be any direct comparisons that I can find with the necessary detail!
A little about the car:
- 2009 NC2...
I'm looking at a few different aftermarket alloys for my mk3, but not sure what would fit without my having to modify my arches at all.
The alloys im currently looking at are 7.5x17 with an offset of 45.
Would these fit without my having to modify my arches at all? The car is currently stock...
ミアータ パワー NC Turbo *-* Version 2.0
I thought I do a fresh build thread for my NC turbo. Will be updating the whole process of swapping over bits from my dead turbo NC onto this one.
Little info about the car.
It's a 06 'True Red' MX5 NC 2.0
Bog standard as they come. 27k and is soooo CLEAN...
I'm after a set of aftermarket alloys for my NC as the standard wheels are in dire need of a refurbish, but I'd rather spend my money on a nicer looking aftermarket set.
I want something that will fit without having to roll the arches or anything.
I'm open to different options...
Just thought I would give the Mazda Mx5 SuperCup a shout out on the Nutz forum. The SuperCup is entering into the last third of its first season and has still to visit some of the best and most popular circuits in the country. Donnington 13th/14th July, Brands Hatch 3rd/4th August...
I could find no details on the net to assist removing and replacing a MX5 NC rear brake caliper.
The http://www.melens.com/mazda site has manuals but if you look through them in detail there are missing sections in the manual with regards to the handbrake cable. Further the Mazda European...
So there is finally available the bracketry to put aftermarket seats into the NC.
THESE ONES ALSO WORK TO LOWER THE OEM SEATS!
Tested with my NC1 leather Recaros I gained around an inch and a half headroom.
Gains are available with the facelift seat but it is less due to the rear...
Ok, I hope this is in the correct thread location.
I have recently designed a seat rail for NC that can retain the factory sliders for OEM seats while gaining an extra inch of headroom. They will also work for all aftermarket seats. I have them in my NC1 and gained around an inch and a quarter...
Having previously owned an R-Limited, I am now in a position to buy another car and return to the MX-5 fold.
The car will be used as a third car and ideally for some track days.
I don't want a totally track honed machine as the wife will not get in it when we just want to run around town.
As per heading, I'm after a decent set (ie not buckled or cracked but some 'weathering' is ok) of standard mk3/nc 16" alloys for my car to use initially for winter tyres but with a view to then using them as my track-day rims.
Live in the North West, so can collect or arrange courier.
I'm after a set of 16' RX7 FD wheels for my NC. Wouldn't mind a set that needs a refurbish as long as they are straight. The wheels I'm looking for are the below. If you have a set for sale or know someone who does drop me a message!
After 6 owning my NC for about 8 months I thought I'd start a thread for it!
I owned MK1 Eunos SE for 4 or so years, however I'd recently moved, and changed job where I'd be commuting in the car. As charming and as much as I loved my Mk1 commuting in it every day was becoming a bit tiresome...
These were fabricated by the good folks at Avia Autos to allow bucket seats to be mounted the existing factory points on my NC (both driver and passenger sides; however only one slider though).
£100 collected from Cardiff. Will also consider meeting halfway if you're not too far away :)
