I wanted to remove the front number plate plinth from my Mk1 import and was surprised to find 5 rivets holding it on...
What's the best way to remove these cleanly? Access from the top and bottom looks really limited so presumably taking the front bumper off for full access?

My Mk1 came with front fog lights in the grill in the front bumper- i believe they were factory fitted. I don't really like the look of them so I thought i'd take them off and sell them, only I have no idea what they're worth. This ebay post listing them for £200 has only confused me even more...
I've wanted to get an mx5 for years, and since my E36 got written off a couple weeks ago by some inconsiderate P***k, I'm going to get one.

So I recently purchased my first Mx5. Car is filthy and the only dials that worked on purchase was the speedo and petrol. Wires hanging places they shouldn't, neither windows working, Key socket lost for locking wheel nuts, coolant looks like heinz tomato soup. Ciggy butts, human slime and food...
I've been looking at getting an MX5 for some time but for one reason or another never got round to it, until last week!!

Just thought I'd start a project thread for my Eunos.
After getting the track day bug in my little Fiesta, I decided I needed something a bit more dedicated. Something small, cheap, fun and RWD that handles like it's on rails...so a 5 seemed the obvious choice. While stashing money away...
So after having a Mk1 for 10 years i recently purchased an 07 Mk3 at auction. On ly after i'd purchased it did i notice it said SVA on the paperwork. After a bit of googling it seems to infer its an import ?
Also its not a sport and yet has a six speed box. Reading on here seems to say that if...
