Anyone fitted a pair of jb fab bucket seat side mounts into their car? Drivers side fit nice and snug but the passenger side is way too narrow for the mounts to fit in?

Cooling Fan Not Working!

05 August 2020 - 04:00 PM

I've got a 94 Eunos 1.8 and neither the cooling fan nor the a/c fan are turning on. This hasn't caused any issues while driving due to the engine getting plenty of air but it failed its MOT as it overheated while getting the emissions tested! While revving the car to the border of overheating the fan did not switch on.

I've hooked up the fan directly to the 12v battery and can confirm the motor works. This is the only way I've managed to get the fan to spin...

Have also swapped out the cooling fan relay in the main fusebox with the functioning relay for the horn and brake lights. Still no joy.

Have also jumpered the TFN to GND in the diagnostics box and with the ignition on the fans are still not spinning.

The A/C fan also doesn't come on when the A/C is turned up all the way with the ignition running.

Tested the yellow wire powering the fan for voltage and not getting any reading with the ignition on and the diagnostics box jumpered.

Any ideas?

Replaced Fuel Pump Relay, Worked For A Day Then Stopped.

01 August 2020 - 11:24 AM

Just replaced my fuel pump relay which fixed the lack of power to the fuel pump on ignition. Worked all of yesterday. Try to start the car today and it seems like the new relay has died too. Any ideas?
