Umm you want a guide how to grease the slider pins?

Use high temp grease (not copper) and coat it liberally. I stuck some in the hole too then wiped off the excess...

Hope that's what you are looking for!

Thanks for the reply but I was looking for something more in depth but I've since found what I was looking for on mazda menders. A thorough guide by doogledog including removal of caliper carrier, release springs, torque settings?, rear calipers regarding handbrake etc... Just general tips along the way to accessing the slider pins as I'm not familiar with these cars yet still being less than 12 months ownership.
Unfortunately no pics due to photobucket....

lucas red n tacky

I have just switched to this, you can hit it directly with a pressure washer and it shrugs it off! Using it on door hinges, and pins locks, exposed bolt threads. It's actually very very good stuff!

Nice.  Might get some of that.  I've previously tried and failed to find red rubber grease.  Not tried hard enough, I guess.

I got mine from eBay. About £9.

I've discovered the hard way that copper grease causes rubber to swell.
